Sunday Adult Equipping Classes

Mike Dornish- “Discipleship Growth Journey”

Are you a younger Christian who is not certain what it means when people talk about discipleship and spiritual growth? Are you someone who has been a believer for some time but you’re not growing like you should because you struggle with spiritual inconsistencies? Are you a healthy Christian who wants to know better how to invest in the lives of other people? This class is for you. We will be looking at what is involved in a healthy Discipleship Growth Journey. We will seek to understand the steps from being an unsaved person, new believer, growing disciple, to mature disciple. We will also look at the pitfalls that can disable a believer and keep them from living their best Christian life.

Matt Stoeckle-  “God’s Big Picture”

The Bible can appear to be a daunting project for anyone to tackle. Learning to grasp the unity of the Bible and its one overall message is necessary to understand God’s overall plan and man’s purpose.  If the Bible is clearly no ordinary book, how and where do we begin to read it and understand it as a whole? This class will trace the storyline of the Bible from beginning to end showing how the different parts of the Bible fit together under the theme of the kingdom of God, and how it ultimately points us to its supreme subject, Jesus Christ, and the salvation God offers through Him.
