Equipping Classes – All Ages
Sunday Equipping Classes break for the summer. Check back for information related to our Fall 2022 classes.

Care Groups
We know that Sunday mornings alone are not sufficient to cultivate relationships centered on loving and serving one another. Therefore, our church provides what we call, “Care Groups” which meet throughout Columbus, twice a month. Care Groups are one of the primary ways, we accomplish our Vision as a church.
The groups serve as a relationship network that facilitate fellowship and provide deliberate discipleship. These groups are made up of 10-20 people from all stages of life that typically meet in someone’s home or at the church. Groups generally enjoy a meal or dessert together, pray together, share life together, and study God’s Word together. We encourage every member of Highland Park to be involved in a Care group.
“Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.” Romans 12:9-13

Meals on Wheels
Periodically, Highland Park is responsible to deliver Meals on Wheels. This ministry has a time commitment of one week, five times a year. It takes about an hour from start to finish, 11 am to 12 noon. Parents and children are welcome to help as those who are shut in especially love to see little ones at their door along with a hot meal. If you would like to help in this ministry, contact Gina Gwinner or the church office, 402.564.5853.

Table Groups
Small groups of women gather once a month for a meal and discussion around The Table. Groups consist of women of varying ages and walks of life and discussion is centered on a book study based on the Word of God. Come hungry and leave satisfied!

Selah Bible Studies
The Selah method takes the portion of scripture to be taught in next week’s sermon and creates an opportunity to cultivate daily quiet time and gather in small group studies. The lessons are underscored
through the Sunday Sermon.
Selah Groups are small groups where discoveries and insights are shared. For more information about obtaining a Selah Exodus Study or joining a Selah Small Group, please contact Shelley Noonan (journey@highlandparkministries.org).
