Winter Adult Equipping Classes

Classes are a great opportunity on Sunday mornings to gather with other members to train in biblical, theological, and practical skills for life and ministry. We encourage everyone to attend one of these 9-week classes this winter. If you have any questions, you can reach out to Pastor Adrian. You can read more about each of these classes below.

2 Timothy

Teacher Mike Dornish

Second Timothy is an amazing letter! It is the last letter Paul wrote before being martyred for the faith. It is an intimate and personal letter to Paul’s beloved disciple, Timothy. It is a letter of warning, instruction, and challenge. It is more than just a letter to Timothy; it is meant to impact the people in Timothy’s congregation and beyond. And it is written for us as well. Join us for this wonderful journey through 2 Timothy to be challenged in your own life and what God wants for you!

How to Study the Bible

Teachers-  Matt Stoeckle and Jed States

Second Timothy 2:15 tells us, “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.” This ‘How to Study the Bible’ class is designed to help you do just that: rightly handle the word of truth. In this interactive class, together we will identify the tools that are most helpful for good bible study, talk about proper use of those tools, and observe and work through different passages to put those tools in use. Maybe you have never read through the Bible or even considered studying it; or maybe you just want to get back to enjoying a deeper dive into scripture by reviewing good bible study tools and processes. Come join us!

The Selah method takes the portion of scripture to be taught in next week’s sermon and creates an opportunity to cultivate daily quiet time and gather in small group studies. The lessons are underscored
through the Sunday Sermon.

Selah Groups are small groups where discoveries and insights are shared. For more information about obtaining a Selah Romans Study or joining a Selah Small Group, please contact Shelley Noonan (
