IMPACT Student Ministries Helps Students to be Impacted by the Word of God
The Word of God is living and powerful and what God uses not only to bring salvation but cause growth in the lives of His children. In response, we also want to be followers of Christ who impact our homes, neighborhoods, schools, and all who we come in contact with by living holy lives for the glory of our great God.
6:00–7:45 PM | Student Ministries Room
Wednesday Night IMPACT provides an opportunity to expose students to the Word of God through preaching and time in small groups as well as worshiping the Lord in song. We also want to have fun as a ministry by enjoying times of games and fellowship. This evening is a great time for students to gather midweek for encouragement and invite their unbelieving friends to hear the good news of salvation in Christ.
8:30–9:30 AM | Student Ministries Room
Sunday Morning IMPACT students are part of the Sunday Bible School ministry of Highland Park Church. The purpose of this time is to help shape and challenge our Christian worldview. This takes place through the learning of the Word, discussing how to practically live that out and ultimately growing in our love for God.
IMPACT Special Events
IMPACT is also committed to having fun! We plan various activities throughout the year with the desire that they produce discipleship relationships between our staff and students and friendships between themselves as lasting memories. Activities include: our annual Winter Retreat, flag football, ultimate frisbee, dodge ball tournaments, and other special events!
We are especially excited about the 2022 Winter Retreat. We are looking forward to this weekend as it faithfully provides an opportunity to expand the student’s fun, deepen their friendships and grow in their relationship with Christ. Let me encourage you to make this Winter Retreat a priority for your children.
Every year at ASCEND CAMP I am amazed at the power of God’s Word that makes an impact on us all. It is a special and unique time for our young people to hear the gospel and grow in their commitment to Jesus Christ.
